One more night, I watch you go
One more time, I’m stuck in the after glow
Free my mind, free my soul
I’d hate to say I told you so
I’d hate to say I told you so
But you’re gonna love me, one day
You’re gonna love me, you’re gonna come back home
I needed to let you know, oh oh ohh oh,
You’re gonna come back home, oh, oh,
I’d hate to say I told you so

Oh well I guess she’s leaving
Always reaching for the door
Always dreaming of the season
And the life she can’t afford
For no reason or a meaning while I’m sleeping on the floor
She got her bags all packed
I’m tripping out like
What the fuck you doing this for?
I’m coming down just like the night before
Where were you when we were getting high?
Those were the best days of our lives
I think that you’re gonna miss this shit, one day
You’re gonna love me, you’re gonna come back home

One more night, I watch you go
We're gonna come back home
One more time, I’d hate to say I told you so
Free my mind, free my soul
I’d hate to say I told you so
I’d hate to say I told you so
But you’re gonna love me

Maybe one day it will all make sense
With your so-called friends, your so-called friends
You’re out with your girls in a cool night clubs
With your high-heeled shoes and you’re showing love
Got all the dudes looking at you
Buy you drinks, get you loose
Red lipstick, itty-bitty dress
Do your thing, kill the rest
Hands in the air, go, go fucking HAM girl
It’s your shit girl, it’s your jam girl
Take some shots, get it right
It’s your party, it’s your night
Where was I when you were getting high
I hope it was the time in your life

You’re gonna regret this shit, one day
You’re gonna realize you love me, it’s too late
You’re gonna come back home
You’re gonna come back home
I’d hate to say I’d told you so
You’re gonna come back home
I’d hate to say I’d told you so
I’d hate to say I’d told you so
But you’re gonna love me

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
