[Verse 1]
I am the red in the rose
The flowers on the blankets on your bedroom floor
And I am the gray in the ghost
That hides with your clothes behind your closet door
I am the green in the grass
That bends back from underneath your feet
And I am the blue in your back alley view
Where the horizon and the rooftops meet

[Chorus]
If you cut me I suppose I would bleed
The colors of the evening stars
You can go anywhere you wish cause I'll be there
Wherever you are (wherever you are, wherever you are)
(Wherever you are, wherever you are)

[Bridge]
(I will always meet your gaze
When we are lost in the technicolor phase)

[Verse 2]
I am the black in the book
The letters on the pages that you memorize
And I am the orange in the overcast
Of color that you visualize
I am the white in the walls that soak up
All the sound when you cannot sleep
And I am the peach in the starfish on the beach
That wish the harbor wasn't quite so deep

[Chorus]
If you cut me I suppose I would bleed
The colors of the evening stars (my darling)
You can go anywhere you wish cause I'll be there
Wherever you are (my darling)
(Wherever you are, wherever you are, wherever you are)
(Wherever you are, wherever you are, wherever you are)

Owl City

Originally making songs in his basement for his friends as Sky Sailing, Adam Young then discovered synth music and became Owl City, releasing two relatively unpopular albums Maybe I’m Dreaming and Of June before making his hit single “Fireflies” which made his third album as Owl City, Ocean Eyes a hit.

After this worldwide success he put on two more albums, All Things Bright and Beautiful in 2011, and The Midsummer Station in 2012. In 2014 he released an EP, Ultraviolet, composed of 4 songs whom one would appear on his following album, Mobile Orchestra. Retiring from Owl City in 2016 to focus on Adam Young Scores, a new project made of orchestral soundtracks about historic events, he reappeared in 2017 to tease his upcoming new album Cinematic, with the release of a series of three EPs, called Reel 1 , 2 and 3.
