[Verse 1]
I like it that you’re calling
Everytime you need something from me (Mhm)
I know you think I’m falling
For all these tricks you’re hiding up your sleeve (Mhm)

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Pull the rabbit from your hat
Anything just to distract from the motives that you don’t know I can see
Pull the wool over my eyes
You don’t know what you hide is providing me with everything I need

[Pre-Chorus 2]
I know that you are using me
I’ll just keep it to myself
‘Cause I know if I don’t then you’ll just use somebody else
I like it when you’re using me
So I keep it to myself
Cause I know if I don’t
Then you’ll just use somebody else

[Chorus]
Use me
Use me
Use me
Don’t use somebody else
Use me
Use me
Use me
Don’t use somebody else

[Verse 2]
I know that it’s so easy to get me to do anything you ask (Mhm)
I know that you don’t need me
But you know that I will keep on coming back (Mhm)

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Pull the rabbit from your hat
Anything just to distract from the motives that you don’t know I can see
Pull the wool over my eyes
You don’t know what you hide is providing me with everything I need

[Pre-Chorus 2]
I know that you are using me
I’ll just keep it to myself
‘Cause I know if I don’t then you’ll just use somebody else
I like it when you’re using me
So I keep it to myself
Cause I know if I don’t
Then you’ll just use somebody else

[Chorus]
Use me
Use me
Use me
Don’t use somebody else
Use me
Use me
Use me
Don’t use somebody else

Alec Benjamin

After getting dropped by Columbia Records at 18 years old, singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin built a following by playing in parking lots outside of Shawn Mendes and Troye Sivan concerts. The Phoenix, Arizona native caught the attention of Jon Bellion, earning a songwriting credit on Bellion’s debut album and later joined him on tour.

To build on the momentum, Benjamin began uploading new songs to his YouTube channel at a rapid clip and eventually earned on a viral hit with “I Built a Friend” and a deal with Atlantic Records.

Benjamin connects to listeners by incorporating using his life struggles to tell stories and give meaning to his songs. You can see this in “Let Me Down Slowly,” “Paper Crown,” “I Built a Friend,” “Death of a Hero,” and “If We Have Each Other.”
