[Intro]
No, oh-oh
Beartrap sound

[Verse 1: blackbear]
I've been treating women like tattoos, I never finish
Give you lines and never fill you in about the other bitches
When I look at my skin, I see empty space, I need to fill in
When I look in the mirror, I see no face, just see the distance
I play like I'm alive, only half of that true, other half is with you
I try to see you in a different light, try to put you in words
They don't rhyme, they don't fit, they don't even make sense, uh

[Pre-Chorus: blackbear]
Only problem is
I see you in colors that don't exist
In colors that don't even exist, girl
I see the future in your eyes
I see my past and all my sins
Swear to God, I see God
When I'm touching on your hips

[Chorus: blackbear]
I couldn't say sorry
I don't know what did
I don't know what I did to you
I couldn't say sorry
I don't know what love is
If it even exists, I'll admit

[Bridge: blackbear]
I don't know what did, I'll make it up somehow
The only problem is, you ain't my problem now
We used to play at bars, we used to bus the tables
[?] people crowds, now sellin' out the staples
I don't know what did, I'll make it up somehow
The only problem is, you ain't my problem now
If you get in a hole, I'ma dig us out
I'ma get this one, I'ma make you proud
Only problem is, you ain't my problem now
You ain't my problem now, now, now, now
Ain't my problem

[Open Verse]

[Pre-Chorus: blackbear]
Only problem is
I see you in colors that don't exist
In colors that don't even exist, girl
I see the future in your eyes
I see my past and all my sins
Swear to God, I see God
When I'm touching on your hips

[Chorus: blackbear]
I couldn't say sorry
I don't know what did
I don't know what I did to you
I couldn't say sorry
I don't know what love is
If it even exists, I'll admit

[Outro: blackbear]
I swear that after I hit it, they start growin' up
They start growin' up and once they glow up, they start fittin' in
They start fittin' in and once they fit in, they start taking pics
I couldn't say sorry

blackbear

blackbear is the stage name of LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Mat Musto, popularly known for co-writing Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” in 2012. Some of his first collaborations were with the likes of Pharrell Williams, MGK, and Childish Gambino. Later, Musto reinvented himself—he coined the name blackbear from a previous EP titled Year of the Blackbear. Under his new name, he started leaning more towards rapping and an R&B-oriented style.

His first mixtape Sex included collaborations with his peers James Blake, Maejor Ali, and “Boyfriend” co-writer Mike Posner. The Afterglow followed in 2014.

In 2015, blackbear released “idfc,” as the lead single from his debut album Deadroses. It increased his fan following and revenue, earning him millions of playback streams and a spot on Billboard’s Uncharted List of Undiscovered and Upcoming Artists. The second single, “90210,” included a feature from G-Eazy—blackbear made an appearance in his 2014 track, “Remember You.”
