[Intro]
Hey

[Verse 1]
I cried all night, thinking 'bout our story
Broken hearted, that's not happy ends
You changed, I stayed the same
Think we saw this happening
Part of me all of you we both saw this coming

[Pre-Chorus]
Your photograph's been on my wall
Now I'm scratching out your face
I let you down, you let me fall
We're made of glass, we were built to break

[Chorus]
Somebody please tell me what's goin' on
Oh were making a big mistake
We're givin' up for a great escape
We're down this long and lonely road
I don't even know if its right or wrong
But we're going our seperate ways
Through the hell fire and the flames
We're down this long and lonely road
We're down this long and lonely road
We're down this long and lonely road

[Verse 2]
You're in my mind, I can hear you calling
Echos softly you haunt me through the night
I sank you float up high
Now I watch you in the sky
My memory starts to incinerate so slowly

[Pre-Chorus]
I hope you've grown yourself real tall
Now you've got plenty of space
Dont let me down, my silver star
We always knew we were built to break

[Chorus]
Somebody please tell me what's goin' on
Oh were making a big mistake (hey)
We're givin' up for a great escape (hey)
We're down this long and lonely road
I don't even know if its right or wrong
But we're going our seperate ways (hey)
Through the hell fire and the flames (hey)
We're down this long and lonely road

[Outro]
Whoa, oh-oh
Whoa, oh-oh
Whoa, oh-oh
It's a long and lonely road
Whoa, oh-oh
Whoa, oh-oh
Whoa, oh-oh
It's a long and lonely road
Down this long and lonely road
Down this long and lonely road
Down this long and lonely road

Charli XCX

Charlotte Emma Aitchison (born 2 August 1992), known professionally as Charli XCX, is an English singer-songwriter known for her eclectic style. She began making music at fourteen, and her debut release was a 2008 limited-edition album aptly titled 14.

By 2010, Charli signed to Atlantic Records, and released her debut single “Stay Away” in May 2011. She released her “real” debut album, True Romance, in 2013. The record met critical acclaim but failed to attain much commercial success. Charli’s true breakthrough came with the release of hit collaborations like Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and Icona Pop’s “I Love It.”

In April 2014, Charli found solo success with “Boom Clap,” which was featured on the soundtrack of The Fault in Our Stars. It’s now certified triple platinum in the United States and gold in her native United Kingdom. Her sophomore album, Sucker, was a pop-punk oriented effort and enjoyed more success than her debut. “Break The Rules,” “Doing It” (featuring Rita Ora), and “Famous” all performed well on the UK singles chart.
