[Verse 1: Chris Brown]
Girl, I double dare you to keep it all the way 100 with me if I'm your man
I'm not gon' lie, I'm scared too, I know you got something to tell me 'cause you're fucking up your speech
So baby, tell me where you were, I'm sick and tired, I know you saw me calling
I think our shit has been over, for a while now

[Pre-Chorus: Chris Brown]
Feels so confused when you say that you don't need me, oh, woah
It's only you that's making you wanna leave me, oh
Where is this trust? I lost it, when you let 'em fuck, yeah, you did, yup
Said girl, I lost it, lost it, how could you give it up?

[Chorus: Tinashe]
I'm not going down with your love
I gave it my all but it's never enough (it's never enough)
Behind the roses, got your hand on the gun
I won't be the one going down with your love (down with your love)
I'm not going down, down, down
Down, down, down
I'm not going down, down, down
With your love

[Verse 2: Tinashe]
It's a cold place, doesn't even matter, it never did do anyway (it never did do anyway)
Turned an eye so blind, you stood there
While I dug myself a grave
Threw my heart inside, you didn't do a thing

[Chorus: Tinashe]
I'm not going down with your love
I gave it my all but it's never enough (it's never enough)
Behind the roses, got your hand on the gun
I won't be the one going down with your love (down with your love)
I'm not going down, down, down
Down, down, down
I'm not going down, down, down
With your love

[Bridge: Chris Brown & (Tinashe)]
Ooh, ooh, girl, yeah, you be on that other shit (but it's never enough)
Ooh, ooh, you be on that other shit

[Chorus: Tinashe]
I'm not going down with your love
I gave it my all but it's never enough (it's never enough)
Behind the roses, got your hand on the gun
I won't be the one going down with your love (down with your love)
I'm not going down, down, down
Down, down, down
I'm not going down, down, down
With your love
I'm not going down, down, down
Down, down, down
I'm not going down, down, down
With your love

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
