[Verse 1]
Ever pass you by on the street
Where's my one-in-a-billion?
Would you even notice me
Five floors down in the building?
Holdin' on to my fantasies
Find that right kinda healin'
I know you're out there somewhere

[Pre-Chorus]
I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine
With me myself and I
But I love someone to love
Even if just for the night
I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine
With me myself and I
But I love somebody else
To turn off all the lights

[Chorus]
Right now I'm missin' a stranger
I crave that imaginary touch
Didn't know I could miss a stranger
This much, this much
Now I couldn't put your face on paper
But I could almost taste you
Couldn't put your face on paper
But right now I'm missin' a stranger
I crave that imaginary touch so much

[Verse 2]
Swear I heard your name in my dreams
I forget by the morning
Swear I can smell you on my sheets
Hear you shower in the morning
Holding on to my fantasies
Trying to cure the lonely
I know you're out there somewhere

[Pre-Chorus]
I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine
With me myself and I
But I love someone to love
Even if just for the night
I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine
With me myself and I
But I love somebody else
To turn off all the lights

[Chorus]
Right now I'm missin' a stranger
I crave that imaginary touch
Didn't know I could miss a stranger
This much, this much
Now I couldn't put your face on paper
But I could almost taste you
Couldn't put your face on paper
But right now I'm missin' a stranger
I crave that imaginary touch so much

[Bridge]
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I know you're out there somewhere
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I know you're out there somewhere

[Chorus]
Right now I'm missin' a stranger
I crave that imaginary touch
Didn't know I could miss a stranger
This much, this much
Right now I'm missin' a stranger
I crave that imaginary touch
Didn't know I could miss a stranger
This much, this much
No I couldn't put your face on paper
But I could almost taste you
Couldn't put your face on paper

[Bridge]
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah
I know you're out there somewhere
Yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
