[Chorus: RoZe]
See, I took life for granted
'Cause I didn't think the day would come
Where I would be right here standin'
In front of my friends and all of my fans

[Verse 1: Abstract]
You know I question your tendencies
Drop a new style, you're dead to me
You said you'd never change; you said you'd stay the same
How could you fuck up the recipe?
Sent you a message in June—and you left me on read
Before these numbers we'd talk everyday
I guess we related back then
You pulled me out of my darkness when she fucked me up and you know I was stuck in my head
When I couldn't take anymore, I would go to my room and play you while I cried in my bed
I bought every piece of merch that you dropped
Stayed up late to be the first that would cop
I just took it all some miles out of town
Burned it all in an abandoned parking lot, fuck!
Couldn't stand another second with it
Wasn't sure what I was rappin' with it
How the hell are people rockin' with it?
How you makin' all this pop rap? You're supposed to be a fuckin' savage with it
Guess you're onto better things these days
Maybe you'll come back to earth one day

[Chorus: RoZe]
See, I took life for granted
'Cause I didn't think the day would come
Where I would be right here standin'
In front of my friends and all of my fans

[Post-Chorus: RoZe]
Singin', "I will never let you down"
"I will never let you down"
"I will never let you down"
"I will never let you down"

[Verse 2: Abstract]
What's up? I just wanna say sorry
Been a few months, I was goin' through things
I was lonely and mad you had a new thing
"No Ghost" made me wanna wrap a shoestring
Around my neck and take that jump
So I loaded all your merch in my goddamn truck
And, like I said, burned it—so fucked up
But let me explain before I get choked up
See, I didn't have no one at the time like you
I was jealous that I ain't have a girl like you
I'm so sorry, I shoulda been proud of you
At the time, guess I didn't know what love could do
See, I met somebody and she changed my life
Funny thing is, she listened to you
"No Ghost" gotta be like her favorite tune
And with her in my life, it's my favorite too
See, I guessed as you grew; I got left behind
Shoulda followed the clues that you left to guide
Just took a little bit for me to see the signs
But now I feel like we're back, livin' side by side
So, no matter where you go, I'll catch up in time
Don't worry 'bout me, I'ma be just fine
Love the new stuff, we know all the lines
By the way, send hoodies—I'ma need two, signed

[Chorus: RoZe]
See, I took life for granted
'Cause I didn't think the day would come
Where I would be right here standin'
In front of my friends and all of my fans

[Post-Chorus: RoZe]
Singin', "I will never let you down"
"I will never let you down"
"I will never let you down"
"I will never let you down"

[Outro: RoZe]
Never let (oooh)
Let you down (oooh)
Nooo (oooh)
No, no, no, no, no
Never let (oooh)
Down all the words you believed in me (oooh)
I will keep on strivin', keep survivin'
As long as I can breathe

[Chorus: RoZe]
See, I took life for granted
'Cause I didn't think the day would come
Where I would be right here standin'
In front of my friends and all of my fans

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
