[Verse 1: Abstract]
Haven't felt like this in awhile or so
I'm about to go for broke
So outta the norm for me
Recently, to feel like this, you see
When I'm around you I ain't got air to breathe
Head's in the clouds, tryna get my mouth to move
Thinkin' what I gotta do
Just to be what's on your mind
I swear, I'm a different kind of guy
And you a different kind of fine
You're the type that's hard to find
The kind I ain't just tryna spend a night with
But if you wanna you know we can do it how you like it
Late night, alcohol, might get texts sent
Don't trip if my messages looking dyslexic

[Pre-Chorus: Abstract]
You know you an angel
Tryna hang around you like a halo
If it's cool with you, just say so
Been a player, I ain't trying to play games though
We could run this town, we could run this world
Only wanna know will you be my girl?
Unstoppable, that's how it go
Just like me when I hit that flow
Know I'm all about shine and you got the glow
We could shine together
Through stormy weather
Know you been done good, I could do you better
On and on, and I won't say forever
A scary combination of letters
But could we give it a shot?
Is you ready to rock?
If you need a little time, I'll be sitting by the clock

[Chorus: James Bay]
I'll come around
If you ever want to be in love
I'm not waiting
But I'm willing if you call me up
If you ever wanna be in love
I'll come around
You know I'll come around
Yeah, you know I'll come around

[Verse 2: Abstract]
I know you got my number
I'll be here all summer
We could try this now
Or we'll always wonder
What could have been
How each other feels on each other's skin
Sorry I be getting intimate
But if the topic's you, I get into it
Girl, I'm interested, if you couldn't tell
You're beautiful like no one else
I'll be an open book, don't put me on the shelf
Wanna know you like you know yourself
As a freshman, can't believe you talk to me
Shy as hell, wasn't even seventeen
But that memory still sticks with me
You're still the gorgeous girl where I wanna be

[Pre-Chorus: Abstract]
You know you an angel
Tryna hang around you like a halo
If it's cool with you, just say so
Been a player, I ain't trying to play games though
We could run this town, we could run this world
Only wanna know will you be my girl?
Unstoppable, that's how it go
Just like me when I hit that flow
Know I'm all about shine and you got the glow
We could shine together
Through stormy weather
Know you been done good, I could do you better
On and on, and I won't say forever
A scary combination of letters
But could we give it a shot?
Is you ready to rock?
If you need a little time, I'll be sitting by the clock

[Chorus: James Bay]
I'll come around
If you ever want to be in love
I'm not waiting
But I'm willing if you call me up
If you ever wanna be in love
I'll come around

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
