[Verse 1]
I stitched up the wounds inside me
Broke down walls that used to hide me
All so I could give my all to you
I fought fires and I moved mountains
Put back my pieces where I found 'em
All so I could be my best for you
But it's hard when you can't spell it out for somebody
Value their mind and you worship their body
Fight for their heart just to watch it get farther away
And it keeps you awake as you try to escape
Fullspeed towards love while they're joggin' in place
And with every cold answer, you freeze just a little bit more
Knowin' it's gonna take you tryin' to find me
Locked inside somebody else who is not me
One day you're gonna find out no one loves like this
I might be able to wait, but I can't play with my fate
I need somebody who understands how to give what they take
And if I never see you again, hope one day you remember when
I put my heart in your hands

[Pre-Chorus/Buildup]
You say you don't love me yet
You say you don't love me yet
You say you don't love me yet
You say you don't love, you say you don't love
You say you don't love me yet
You say you don't love me yet
Maybe that's not how you feel, but if you say it, it's real
I think you know that you do (I think you know that you do)

[Chorus/Drop]
And that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)

[Verse 2]
But nothing could be as scary as letting you go
Go and give me your heart to carry, I'll never let go
Gotta tell you the way I'm feelin' come straight out of my soul, it's true (It's true, it's true, it's true)
You came into my life (My life)
'Round the time I was losin' my life (My life)
Brought me back to myself, I forgot how it felt
Heart made of ice that you knew how to melt
Now I stand with that heart in my hands (In my hands)
Comin' to you as a man (As a man)
Who don't wanna be without you
The second that I found you, I knew I could never let go

[Pre-Chorus/Buildup]
You say you don't love me yet (You don't love me yet)
You say you don't love me yet (You don't love me yet)
You say you don't love me yet (You don't love me yet)
You say you don't love, you say you don't love
You say you don't love me yet (No, oh, oh, oh)
You say you don't love me yet (No, oh, oh, oh)
Maybe that's not how you feel, but if you say it, it's real
I think you know that you do (I think you know that you do)

[Chorus/Drop]
And that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
I think you know that you do
And that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you (You, you, you)
Yeah, that's what's scary to you
I think you know that you do, and that's what's scary to you

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
