Producer: DJ-E

[Intro]
Yeah, yeah, yeah
It's the Abstract shit
DJ E comin' with that crazy, kinda weird, fun shit
I don't even know, but yeah

[Chorus]
If it's all I know, then it's all I see
If it's all I want, then it's all I'll be
If it's all I wish, then it's all I get
I run this shit, hope none forget

[Bridge]
It's kinda funky, but I think I can do with this one
Let's see how this shit goes
Abstract, DJ E

[Verse]
Rolled outta bed, wonderin' what I'm gonna do today
Maybe do some writin', do some work on the wordplay
Puttin' in the time thinkin' it'll turn to word-pay
'Cause if I ain't in play, who gon' do it anyway?
Headin' to school goin' seventy on the highway
Hard times there 'cause I wanna do it my way
Dreams and reality are really startin' to catch up
Don't know what I'm doin' but I gotta get my rest up
Gotta long road in front of me
Am I runnin' tracks? Or are they runnin' me?
Either way, at the finish I'm claimin' victory
Leavin' here is the best with no mystery
To all those who think this shit easy
It's cool to try to be the next Jay and Yeezy
But we got enough of those, real kids are what the game needs
Yeah, that's why you need me
Y'all fakes, spit that plutonium
I spit like I'm rhymin' on Pluto, son
Every one of us claims that we're number one
But let's just say right now I'm doin' better, son
Grab a little intellect before you start grabbin' them guns
Talkin' 'bout killin' kids and puttin' cops in coffins?
I talk about livin' big, stay real, and keep it awesome
Yeah, Dennis the only one who say I ain't flossin'
Yeah I'm gonna cop it, don't matter what it's costin'
Ask me what I'm doin', say I'm doin' what I want, man
They ask me where I see myself in about five years
Told 'em toast to myself with a black and a beer
Failure won't be a fear, livin' somewhere other than here
Livin' life famous and all in the clear
Oh yeah, and I'll be number one in five years

[Chorus]
If it's all I know, then it's all I see
If it's all I want, then it's all I'll be
If it's all I wish, then it's all I get
I run this shit, hope none forget

[Outro]
Big thanks to everyone who supported me
I hope you enjoyed the mixtape (and DJ E)
So, uh yeah, just share it with the world
Post it on your walls, websites, everywhere, I don't even know
But this is just the beginning, so this is kinda the lowest point that I'll probably ever be at
'Cause I'm just gonna try to get better and better with this shit
Just havin' fun, sayin' what I wanna, you know
Yep, Jackson, 307
There's more than fuckin' cowboys here, haha
Alright, peace—thanks to everyone

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
