[Intro: Abstract]
You think you’re my true colors?
You're... you're a parasite
You're a leech
We will never be the same
Never!

[Verse 1: Abstract]
Came up with the whole team
Viral without one meme
Y'all backseat with the freestyles, I'm upfront with the damn keys
I'm in Drive like Gosling, Blade Runner to the false shit
Came in with a full clip, won't leave 'til I hit my target
Been dope like Obi, flow Stark tech like Tony
Been me since '93, y'all shape-shift so Loki
I been moving like Crypto, stealth with it like tiptoe
They say I been up next, like tell me something I don't know
I make hits, you make excuses
Base hit 'til I leave bruises
Harry-O with the flow knocking
Coming out me like a Farrah Fawcett
Local, went global, now the universe gonna see the vision
Quinn Jet when I take off, wings don't stop, no Rick Ross
If you complain, I won't come plain
Or don't try to book my name
Price 'bout to go way up like SpaceX over LA
I'm Elon in the rap game, I was slept on 'til I game-changed
They called me crazy, now my life is insane

[Chorus: Abstract]
They told me that I was crazy
They said that I lost my mind
In the end we all go crazy
I just didn't waste no time
If living for a dream is crazy
I don't ever wanna be sane
I don't ever wanna be like you
I'll die before we become the same

[Bridge: Abstract]
I am everything that got you here!
I was that self-belief when no one else believed in you
I am infinite, endless!
You depend on me for ambition, I depend on you for existence

[Verse 2: Abstract]
I stay on the quantum level, I been pulling strings
I got greatness on my resume, I made a couple kings
I'm a all-seeing entity, he who they pretend to be
I been moving in the shadows, knew that they would send for me
Ammunition to ambition, I'ma stirrer of the pot
It's amazing all that you can do introducing thoughts
Flashback to the past, fast—that's an ego trip
That's a fast-pass to that anger and I'm loving it
It's negativity, that, "What do people really think of me?"
That, "You ain't heard of me?"
That, "Fuck you if you never think of me"
That living ego, that, "What do they know?"
That voice inside your mind who gets high off of what we do not let go

[Chorus: Abstract]
They told me that I was crazy
They said that I lost my mind
In the end we all go crazy
I just didn't waste no time
If living for a dream is crazy
I don't ever wanna be sane
I don't ever wanna be like you
I'll die before we become the same

[Verse 3: Abstract]
I don't think you know me, I don't think we homies
Don't think that you control me, I'm the one and only
You're the product of my mind, product of my life
You're a sickness, you're a pest, you're my kryptonite
You're anxiety, your thoughts keep me up at night
You're revenge, you're the flex, you're that "I was right"
You're the part of me that I wish that they never knew
I would take myself out just to get to you
You're bluffing, you're nothing, you threaten what I'm becoming
Got a plan for world domination, I've been in here patiently waiting
Got a bite of what I've been chasing
And the fame I feast on, amazing
You've been making me sick, talkin 'bout the world, you can't save it
Make everything about you, it's much more easy to do
How dare you try to disrespect me?
You know I'm the one who made the moves
You wanted revenge, who delivered, was it you?
It was me, wait a second, think before you go an— *BANG*

[Chorus: Abstract]
They told me that I was crazy
They said that I lost my mind
In the end we all go crazy
I just didn't waste no time
If living for a dream is crazy
I don't ever wanna be sane
I don't ever wanna be like you
I'll die before we become the same

[Outro: Abstract]
You think you've... you've won
But I will always own a part of you

[Dialogue: Abstract & Ms. Watson]
My apologies for the delay
Your heart rate has increased drastically
Why so distraught?
Well, I'm being held on some ship
Still no idea where I am
Was just in an argument turned battle, ended up killing myself
Yourself? But you're—
Not me, per se—my, ugh
It's all, it's all very weird
All of this is very weird
Tell me why I'm truly here
We'll get to that now

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
