But you can score too?
Please, not without me you couldn't
And it just keeps getting weirder
Alright, who is this?
I'm you; you're me—what's the difference?
Your main concern should be what are we doing here?
We just woke up in some sci-fi channel episode
Encased in who knows what
Can you move? Why are you not freaking out?
I was, but I figured I just have to wait it out
It could be a nightmare but she doesn't seem to want to harm me, so
So you're just gonna take it?
Does she even have a clue who we are?
Abstract—headed home from creating our album overseas
The constant disrespect is baffling
Between this, the bouncer back home
Our ex with the rumors
Wait, wait, wait—ex with the rumors?
That was you? I knew that wasn't me!
You've been here the whole time!
And I'm gonna be here for the rest of time
Just without you

[Chorus]
Local kid went global to the universe
Got the best timeline in the multiverse
Time is nothin', I could stretch it, live forever if I need
Switch dimensions in a second like I flow up on a beat
I'm a manifesting energy
All seeing entity
He who they pretend to be
Knew that they would send for me
They better come equipped though

Too slow

[Verse 1]
Ego takin' over now—hard to never let it out (oh yeah, yeah)
I try not to let it show, it ain't what I'm really 'bout (oh no, no)
They say quicken up your flow, I'm about to air 'em out (okay, -kay)
Forgive me what I'm 'bout to do, Abstract goin' wild
Told you I was movin' units overseas
Money trees sproutin', 'bout to overseed
So lit, you can't water me
What does water mean?
Meaning can't ask, "What are you doin' these days?"
If you ain't heard, you a damn liar
Your pants need a damn firefighter
Go fly a kite, hope the lightnin' fry ya

[Chorus]
Local kid went global to the universe
Got the best timeline in the multiverse
Time is nothin', I could stretch it, live forever if I need
Switch dimensions in a second like I flow up on a beat

[Verse 2]
Think you on my level though?
I ain't playin' with you, ho
Look at everything I did
I'm the reason you exist
I'm your heart and I'm your soul
I'm the reason that they know
You're a product of a hole, tried to fill it with my goals
Abstract was a damn mask when the dark times took ahold, yeah
You were tryna go and cry about it, I got busy 'fore you learned to write about it
Look at you and how you're livin' now
This is what I get for bailin' out?
Remember, we were in your parents' house
You were heartbroken, a pathetic child
Lucky that I spoke up for you, lucky that I woke up for you
I was confidence when you had none
You weren't bullets, I am just the damn gun
I'm your hitman with the hits, man
I'm the product of when the shit hits fan
I am uncensored, I am unchained
You are body locked, you are manmade
I am free-flowing poetry in motion
I am intuition, leader of the mission

[Bridge]
I'm a blessing to you!
I got a question for you!
What would you be?
What would you be without me?
Easy as this—I know you'll never agree
But honestly, I would be free—you were the ego in me

[Dialogue]
What is your end goal? What are you gonna get out of this?
I'm taking over, your passive ass is done here—you got me done!
And how do you suppose you'll do that?
Easy!

[Chorus]
Local kid went global to the universe
Got the best timeline in the multiverse
Time is nothin', I could stretch it, live forever if I need
Switch dimensions in a second like I flow up on a beat
I'm a manifesting energy
All seeing entity
He who they pretend to be
Knew that they would send for me
They better come equipped though

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
