[Intro]
Yeah
I'm on my me shit
Best believe, I'm on my me shit
Yeah

[Verse 1]
Ain't nobody fresher, couple k up in my dresser
Body bag the competition, leave the rest all in the stretcher
Diamonds come from pressure, burn like coal after I left
And now that diamond out here shinin', hope that image start to stress ya
Abstract be that name now, shots sent to them lames, pow
And y'all thought you were dope, [?] when that six round
Y'all probably mad that I be braggin' me
With the way that I be workin', think some shit deserves some sayin'
I ain't tokin' Glocks, sellin' rockets, sip some rock
But I know what it's like to dream because it's all you got
I know what it's like to take a chance without a shot
Ask the Devil for a dance just to try to reach the top
Conduct a conversation, facin' God and all your demons
Reachin' tragedies to reason gods and treasons slowly leavin'
The world feels far from heaven while the innocent recedin'
But I gotta keep my faith up so I stick to not believin'

[Chorus]
They be sayin, "Where's your G shit?"
They, they be askin, "Where's your chains, bitch?"
You see this? I be on some me shit (on your me shit?)
Yeah, you see this? I be on my me shit
On my me shit, most y'all can't believe it
These days you all rock the boat the same, got me seasick
Got to do it differently; I'll do it by bein' me
And not copycat the next hit on MTV

[Verse 2]
They say we lovin' how you different and dope
You don't talk about the money, honeys, the whips, or the clothes
Funny thing about that, well, my style's sicker than most
But I rather talk to change the world than flaunt my box logos
'Cause anyone can rock a brand, but that shit don't make a man
I wanna be the man that puts a brand into demand
Just because some little homie saw me rocket in a jam, the aura of a star blastin' off like RocketMan
Movin' units globally, they sleepin' on me locally
No cheat code on another level vocally
All these bros be quotin' me, guess that's how it's supposed to be
The fact I had no hope, I woke the beauty and the beast in me
Came up out the womb, almost went too soon
Assumed wound out the heavens, glimpsed a life to move the tombs
But I guess that was mo' was meant for me
Life the game like Hercules
Call it like I'm Stalin, brains accute like an isosceles

[Chorus]
They be sayin, "Where's your G shit?"
They, they be askin, "Where's your chains, bitch?"
You see this? I be on my me shit (on your me shit?)
Yeah, you see this? I be on my me shit
On my me shit, most y'all can't believe it
These days you all rock the boat the same, got me seasick
Got to do it differently; I'll do it by bein' me
And not copycat the next hit on MTV

[Outro]
"Where's your G shit?"
"Where's your chains, bitch?"
(On your me shit?)
(On your me shit?)

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
