[Chorus]
I see the world through different eyes
Took these dreams to make what's mine
And we don't wait to take our time
Like I said, I'll take what's mine

[Verse 1]
You see dreams; I see life
You see darkness; I see light
You see wrong; I see right
You see dope; I see your ride
Everything is different, son, 'cause everything is relative
You wanted this, now you wantin' that
So you're never really gettin' it
That right there is progression
Heading in the right direction, the happiest form of depression
And it's weird, yeah, I know
But that struggle we have made to stop the fade will help us grow
And with all these bars we lay, the barricade will surely blow
And with all the hate, they play this; it okay to let them know
That I'm finally where I wanna be, and did it on my own
And with all the things they've thrown at me, I'm still remainin' strong
They used to be sarcastic, now they switchin' up they dome
The one who was so small just took a leap and now he's grown
Now that you have watch me climb to this, let it be known
Tell me how the kid who wasn't shit can hold his own

[Chorus]
I see the world through different eyes
Took these dreams to make what's mine
And we don't wait to take our time
Like I said, I'll take what's mine
I see the world through different eyes
Took these dreams to make what's mine
And we don't wait to take our time
Like I said, I'll take what's mine

[Verse 2]
I am waitin' on life
Waitin' on shit to go become a right
Tell 'em 'nough dreamin', I'm workin' all night
Makin' some music they startin' to like
Livin' in darkness, look to the lights
They told me I couldn't, I put up a fight
Son, 'cause I ain't your average
Saw that mic, and so I grabbed it
Saw that life, and I had to have it
Movin' live, we mobile
Came from local, now we global
For less I wouldn't settle, 'bout to blow like a tea kettle
And y'all can take your shots, but I'm Magneto on the metal
Damn, but I ain't fuckin' with my ex, man
Went from hearin' what her ex could to seein' what her ex can
Damn, and it's all part of the plan
No testin' my skills, this ain't an exam
Do it all for me and it's for the fans
Made music for the therapy, now they all aware of me
Now the flows I push in every song got rappers scared of me
Yeah, they drownin' in the flow
Take the throne to my control
Play the hand that I had made
Goin' all in, and I never fold

[Chorus]
I see the world through different eyes
Took these dreams to make what's mine
And we don't wait to take our time
Like I said, I'll take what's mine
I see the world through different eyes
Took these dreams to make what's mine
And we don't wait to take our time
Like I said, I'll take what's mine

[Outro]
I see the world through different eyes
Took these dreams to make what's mine
And we don't wait to take our time
Like I said, I'll take what's mine
I see the world through different eyes
Took these dreams to make what's mine
And we don't wait to take our time
Like I said, I'll take what's mine

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
