Christopher Gardner (Will Smith): Hey, don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do somethin'. You got a dream... you gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. You want somethin', go get it. Period

[Chorus]
This is all that I am, give it all that I can
You do this for yourself, never meant for others, man
You did this for one girl, now you do it for the world
'Cause we never hit the goals we keep on raisin'
Look at all the dreams that you started chasin'
People know who you are, isn't that amazin'?
Ooh, ooh
This is all that I am, give it all that I can
You do this for yourself, never meant for others, man
You did this for one girl, now you do it for the world
'Cause we never hit the goals we keep on raisin'
Look at all the dreams that you started chasin'
People know who you are, isn't that amazin'?

[Verse 1]
They say you can't give up
Shit's about to pick up
You keep workin' on that shit until they say you're next up
Workin' from midnight to noon
Recognition's comin' soon
I know it's slow, but don't let the bullshit fuck up your attitude
Look around you, tell me who else is really makin' moves
They all knowin' your presence, you actin' like you're Mr. Scrooge
But sometimes it's so hard that you can barely take it
The odds' screaming out you that you'll never fuckin' make it
Slowly convince false evidence to prove that they're right
And the only time you fight 'em's in the middle of the night
When the dreams sets in and you're able to breathe again
Realize leavin' the game would be leavin' your best friend
Now you're sane again 'cause you're who you are believin' in
And you know you're different than what most these rappers say they're livin' in
Claimin' all the money, weed, pussy, while they live pretend
Albums in the fable section, that's the people you different than
That's the people that you different than (you gotta keep goin')
No matter how hard you work just to try to be perfect
I know what it feels like to feel like ain't none of it worth it (you gotta keep goin')
[Want a richer job with a girl?], or a paper you spent all night on
You did everything right and still your boss says he dislikes (you gotta keep goin')
So you apologize profusely but she still just wants to fight
Or you spend 24 hours on a paper you got an F on (you gotta keep goin')
Sittin' in your room, tellin' the whole world to f off
You put everything into that and you still ain't gettin' nothin' back

[Outro]
Yeah, that's how I sometimes feel
I stay on my grind; fuck the world, I keep it real

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
