[Chorus]
Stress load up, we toke up
It's all that we know
We work hard, we party
We grind hard, we glow
We're let down, we fall short
That shit we don't show
We get rid of all that and smoke that we blow
It's all gone
'Cause we get so high
Feel so at home as the stars pass me by
Get so high
'Cause we get so high
Feel so at home as the stars pass me by

[Verse 1]
L in one hand, blunt in the other, takin' tokes
Doubles bliffin' 'cause I can't call this secondhand smoke
Now when they say I'm the man, the world know it ain't a joke
Multiplyin' all the fans, guess that's why they say I'm cold
Only time I feel fine is when I'm spittin' in the booth
When I'm lightin' one or two with the girl I'm chasin' comin' through
Forty in my hand to help me see that loneliness is true
We about to ride, yo
You know we got shit to do
Now, why would I lie? Yo
We about to cruise a few
Work hard so we never lose
Now at a level where my whole world's knew
Verbally wreck 'em, fuck second
Told you I would go get it confused
Rappers think they front page, they just yesterday's news
'Cause we ain't know what's to the top
Three tapes in a year brought me drop
Ain't showin' any signs, still ain't gonna stop
Took this tape here and I gave 'em all I got
Lookin' back a year, my hype wasn't a lot
Now we on the move, 'bout to get the next spot
Maybe you ain't down, but your bitch knows I'm hot
It's all cool, I get that a lot

[Chorus]
Stress load up, we toke up
It's all that we know
We work hard, we party
We grind hard, we glow
We're let down, we fall short
That shit we don't show
We get rid of all that and smoke that we blow
It's all gone
'Cause we get so high
Feel so at home as the stars pass me by
Get so high
'Cause we get so high
Feel so at home as the stars pass me by

[Verse 2]
Yeah, 'cause we be floatin' on clouds high
Clouds smokin' so hard, I think we 'bout to hit nine
Ashin' on my regrets, tryna put my past behind
Lookin' to my future, I decide, just enjoy the ride
'Cause whatever makes you happy, that's where you should put your grind
And whatever you love to do, it's true: in the end, you'll make it fine
If whoever always loved you paid dues, give them your thankful time
'Cause they were there for you when you felt you would never shine

[Chorus]
Stress load up, we toke up
It's all that we know
We work hard, we party
We grind hard, we glow
We're let down, we fall short
That shit we don't show
We get rid of all that and smoke that we blow
It's all gone
'Cause we get so high
Feel so at home as the stars pass me by
Get so high
'Cause we get so high
Feel so at home as the stars pass me by

[Outro]
And the smoke that we blow
We grind hard, we glow
And the smoke that we blow

Abstract

Growing up in New Jersey, Luke Terkovich, otherwise known as Abstract, was involved with music at an early age. Learning how to play piano, electric guitar, and the drums were Luke’s first involvement with music — and he did it all before 6th grade. With a move across country from New Jersey to Jackson, Wyoming, the distance between learning and playing new instruments got larger. It wasn’t until several years later that Luke began to mess around with freestyling during his high school years spent at Jackson Hole High. Evolving his newly found musical expression into Raised in Jackson, WY, Abstract is known for his immense musical versatility and affinity for providing uplifting music for a turbulent world. With a knack for storytelling, he provides introspective motivation to all who take the time to dive into his work. Notably known for his remix of Ruth Bs Lost Boy “Neverland” which has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on YouTube, his work with Drumma Battalion and Roze, and his 2016 album Something to Write Home About. He heads a collective known as “A Team Worldwide” 5 musicians from 4 different countries. Producers Drumma Battalion of Norway, Blulake of Sweden, Cryo Music of Scotland, and Abstract. Coming off his first overseas tour with YONAS, the ATWW collective is gearing up to drop Abstracts new album/experience late summer 2018.writing detailed lyrics, he began to find that he could vent the stresses of his everyday life through creating music. Slowly progressing through the years of his new town where he calls home; balancing school, life, and music developed Luke to become Abstract.

Trying to find his sound was a young teenager who just looked to get something written down and then translated into music, and eventually rap. Still in his caterpillar stage of metamorphosis was a young Abstract who released his first ever collection of songs, properly named The Dream.

In 2012, through YouTube, Abstract met Craig McAllister, a producer from Glasgow, Scotland. During that period, Abstract was in the midst of working on On My Own Time and was the first time Craig showed up with Abstract. Afterwards, the duo started to mesh extremely well and produced the five projects, Under Lights & Microscopes, A Life To Live By, Dreaming With Eyes Open, The Science Of Feeling Tall, and We Are The Artist.
